If we Americans can't forgive the people who did 9/11
without remembering the loss
we have all suffered,
then we are no better than those who did the deed.
We must forgive from the heart
and not just say "I forgive them".
Read Sirach 27:30-28:7 (NAB)
and remember that
you will not be
forgiven by God
if you don't forgive from the heart.
